Factory headlight outputs are really only designed to power a halogen light bulb and with the not-so-stable electrical systems on motorcycles - that could mean bad news for the longevity of your upgraded headlights without a harness. It is not designed for a car's engine bay and has to be modified or rigged to work on a bike - this one should be ready to go out of the box.
